Hospitals

The SAVI project operates handicraft workshops for children and adults in hospitals on a national level. SAVI volunteers conducted a handicraft workshop for cancer patients as a Passover initiative at the Dana Children's Hospital Oncology Department and the Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. The young children learned the benefits of the SAVI "poking project" and had some calming and also fun "time out" from their medical treatment and difficult surroundings. The children also received gifts including handicraft kits, material and a SAVI doll made by the aged attending CLICK's community centers.

The Schneider Hospital in Petach Tikva also received Hanukah gifts personally delivered and made by the elderly attending CLICK's community centers for the aged.
