Elderly
SAVI's craft projects provide great opportunities for interaction between generations. Grandparents often have more time, patience and many skills that can be taught to their grandchildren. One way of doing this is to share in fun craft activities. Bridge the generation gap! Sew up a soft toy and let the kids add the finishing touches or better still, teach them their first sewing stitches. They'll think you're the "coolest" and really want to visit! Make sure you have a box bursting with craft activities for when the kids come to visit or vice versa.
