"Community Support" project goes apple picking in the Golan

As part of the "Community Support" project for the Golden Aged, operated by CLICK, the Hod Hasharon municipality and Eshel-Joint, the group enjoyed a two day outing to the Upper Galilee and Golan Heights. The trip started with a visit to “Beit-El” in Zichron Ya’akov, the Friends of Israel German Community Center, and continued to the Graves of the Righteous on Har Meron and Amukah. Night was spent in Kibbutz Kfar Giladi. The next day, they went up to Kibbutz Ein Zivan on the Golan Heights where they visited the chocolate factory and continued on to apple picking. From the apple orchard, they were taken in a tractor pulled wagon to drive along the border (picture attached). An expansive lunch was provided at Kibbuzt Merom Golan, and the day finished with a visit to the spice factory.
