SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY WITH: THE USY ISRAEL PILGRIMAGE 2009 GROUP 7

The USY Israel Pilgrimage 2009, Group 7, participated in a SAVI handicraft community workshop, operated by CLICK. Together with the elders from the "Gil Amal" Day Care Center for the disabled elders, they sewed and glued hand puppets, dolls and pictures, to be donated to children in need. This was an opportunity to do something amazing for the community and to make a real difference to other people's lives. The handicraft materials (dolls, mobiles, pictures, etc…) used by the USY Israel Pilgrimage 2009, Group in this community project were manufactured by the elders and learning impaired at the SAVI project operated by CLICK. To the delight of the partipants, they were also visited by the Deputy Mayor- Mrs Aviva Guttman Pictured: USY Israel Pilgrimage 2009, Group at SAVI, with the Deputy Mayor- Mrs Aviva Guttman
