(Hod Hakfar, Jan. 17th, 2003)
The governing committee of Click was invited to the President's Home to celebrate receiving a Certificate of Merit for attaining stage 1 compliance with public office requirements according to the governing laws of correct management.
The National Organization for volunteer and Non-Profit Organizations, invited specially chosen volunteer organizations from around the country, to meet the President of Israel, the Honorable Moshe Katzav, in his home in Jerusalem last week. Each of these organizations passed the Stage 1 requirements for obtaining a certificate of quality management. The meeting was part of the opening ceremony of the first conference for Israel's Third Sector.
Only 200 out of 30,000 organizations passed stage 1 requirements for the certificate of quality management. Hod Hasharon was represented with our own local volunteer organization, Click, which operates for the benefit of the elderly and children from troubled homes. The Certificate of Quality which will be granted to Click at the completion of all the required stages testifies to Click's compliance with all public governing laws of correct management, and honest representation of the population they service. In addition, it verifies that Click's personnel maintains complete and accurate accounts and bookkeeping, as is required by the Central Licensing Agency for volunteer and non-profit organizations.
The director of Click, Linda Mosek, and a member of the governing committee, Esther Amir, represented Click at the President's Home.
