The SAVI project operated by CLICK, spent considerable time developing a direct sales strategy, targeting institutions, summer holiday camps and the general public. The effort paid off with SAVI selling handicrafts, packed and cut by the elderly, to two large summer school holiday programs. SAVI'S staff consequently trained 4 groups of 10 teenage Summer Holiday teachers, who will be working with the products. It was an emotional sight to see so many youths enjoying the benefits of SAVI's handicrafts.
In addition, SAVI advertised in the local news paper, the handicraft seminars to be held for children and grandparents and parents and children of all ages.
